Only five days after suffering a broken foot and two days after being placed on injured reserve, Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown will undergo surgery to repair the injury, according to Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald.
Brown traveled with his teammates to Charlotte for a Thursday visit with a local foot specialist, Dr. Bob Anderson.
Anderson confirmed the diagnosis of a Lisfranc fracture, and surgery will be conducted on Friday.
Brown is out for the season after being placed on injured reserve.

I hope Ronnie Brown will be able to come back from this injury. What a difference he's made for the Phin's this year [(& last, too!) & the year before] Run, Ronnie, Run!

Godspeed is one of the dumbest words in the English language. Right after Steelers.
Well, the doctor who discovered the injury was a gynecologist. Why don't we call it Pussy Foot, instead of Lisfranc?
Let's call it a "sprained footvajj".
Florio, what are the odds he re-signs with Miami next year? This is a question that needs answering. Get on that!
