Bush, Ellis out vs. Buccaneers

Saints running back Reggie Bush was initially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, but he has been ruled out and will not play.

Saints defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis has also been ruled out.

Adam Schefter of ESPN tweets that neither Bush nor Ellis is making the trip to Tampa. Both players have knee injuries and are expected back next week.

With Bush out, Pierre Thomas can be expected to get more touches on offense -- particularly in the passing game. The Saints will also need to find a new punt returner.

The absence of Ellis is a disappointment to the Saints' defense. Ellis started the first six games and has missed the last three, and the Saints were hoping he'd be back this week.

I heard somewhere Eli Manning was all cocked-up and slapped a cop last night. Anyone else heard the same?

It's not like either one is a game changer. With them out doesn't increase the Bucs chances of an upset or to even come close.

Are you kidding?? The Saints struggled with the Rams last week. Missing your starting DT and the best special teamer/big play guy...you're an idiot...

    Upset game of the week.

Bush had been a Bucs killer on special teams over the years. That takes a big bite out of the Saints gameplan.

This has all the makings of a perfert storm upset situation. If the Saints had trouble with the Rams, the Bucs wont be much easier if they are playing like they have the last few weeks.

    Any given Sunday, baby!

    38-7! HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!

When you Pop off about things that you don't know what your talking about you just show your ignorance! What I said is fact and the game proved it.

FYI, I am a long time Bucs fan. Just not a delusional or uneducated one. Living in fantasy land only leaves you vulnerable.
