Brady Quinn's play call won't cost Josh Cribbs any playing time. At least according to Cribbs.
Cleveland's versatile return man/receiver is listed as questionable for Sunday's one-win battle royale against the Lions, but he says he'll be on the field.
"They'd have to take my pads away for me not to play," Cribbs said. "It's
going to take a lot to keep me out of the game. I love it too much."
Cribbs said that Ravens defender Dwan Edwards shouldn't have been fined for hurting Cribbs on the play because it wasn't intentional.
While Cribbs was happy to speak about returning to action, his teammate running back Jerome Harrison isn't talking. Harrison has lost playing time recently to Chris Jennings, perhaps because of weak blocking skills.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer says Harrison doesn't want to speak to the media because he may say what he really thinks.
"Anything that he wants to talk about, he can come talk with me at any point, just like all these guys can," coach Eric Mangini said when asked about the situation.

OR, skip the 3rd helping of pie and tell the player what you think he needs to do to get back in the lineup.
I seem to remember that last year or the year before when Dallas Clark had a bad concussion and was held out a few games it was because the Indy medical staff had scanned his brain's activity level before the season and would not clear him to play again till they returned to that level. This could be an answer for concussion protection for players.
I'm not fan of Mangini at the moment, but he's not the first, or even second coach to bench Harrison for his weak blocking. Who is Harrison mad at? He should be mad at his mom for creating a poor blocker.
Mom's teach you how to block? Really?
Too true, Jerome can't block a corpse.
Nice coaching Mangini. "If he wants to talk he can come find ME.
What a leader. Who wouldn't want to follow him?
