During a four-week stretch of Saturdays with Notre Dame games on NBC, which involved yours truly making the trek from West Virginia to New York, I wondered if/when the travel-and-stress grind would ever end.
And then, of course, with no Notre Dame game last weekend, I missed not being here.
So I’m back one more time, for a visit with Jimmy Roberts and Peter King during halftime of the Connecticut-Notre Dame tilt on NBC (2:30 p.m. ET).
Florio Jr. will be coming with me to the studio, and he promises not to stand in the back of the studio and try to make me laugh while on camera. Which of course means that he will stand in the back of the studio and try to make me laugh while on camera.
GO UCONN!
Mike, try and think about ND defense that should keep you somber.
How come you can’t get Florio Jr.’s band to play during halftime? I thought you had power at NBC now.
Quitter
If it’s any consolation, Im sure that both Jimmy Roberts and Peter King will be sitting on thumb tacks to keep from laughing out loud at your hair helmet.
What’s next for the Florio clan, Jerry Springer?
Check the 30 Rock trash bins for more A/V equipment. It’s needed.
