Nice weekend for the PFT home offices.
First, the article. Now, West Virginia’s own Steve Slaton is back in the starting lineup.
A fumbling problem early in Houston’s win against the Bills put Slaton on the pine, and he stayed in a reserve role in the team’s loss against the Colts.
After a bye week and a good week of practices, Slaton is back on top of the depth chart, like he expected.
“I had an assumption that I would start, but nothing was concrete until
now,” Slaton said Saturday. “I’m happy about it. It’s an opportunity I have to take
full advantage of.”
Ryan Moats seems likely to be used in a rotation behind Slaton, although it’s unclear if Chris Brown is still the team’s designated short-yardage back.
Tennessee’s rush defense has been solid all season, so expect Slaton to make his biggest impact catching the ball out of the backfield.
YES! Just traded for him
good. I managed to trade moats for vincent jackson before this! no idea how
Doggone it!! I just traded for Moats!
go moutaineers
If he fumbles in the first quarter he’ll be benched for the game again. Texans RB situation has been a pain for my fantasy team.
Of course Slaton is back in the starting lineup…you’re not going to sit a talent like that for an extended period of time. Sure Moats had a couple good games, but come on, you really think that if Slaton is healthy Kubiak would just continue to sit him for fumbling. I don’t think so.
Coool..that worked out for my fantasy team. He and Ronnie Brown were my original starters. When Slaton got benched or shortly before, i picked up Ray Rice off waivers…goood move. Brown got hurt so I picked Beanie Wells off the waiver wire…kinda out of desperation. But now, Slayton’s back and I’m starting Rice…and i have Wells on the bench as a security blanket….that almost looked like I knew what the hell i was doing….lol
hyde, NO one in your league knew what they were doing if you JUST picked up Ray Rice.

Isn’t that redundant?
