Tennessee owner Bud Adams was fined $250,000 for extending his middle fingers toward Buffalo fans during last week’s Titans-Bills game.
Now Adams has spent a few dollars more to make another gesture to Bills fans.
The sports section of today’s Buffalo News features an ad, purchased by Adams, intended as a peace offering to Bills fans. Per Adam Schefter, the ad reads, “We wish the Bills and their fans good luck today and for the remainder of the season.”
Adams apologized for the incident last week, saying, “I got caught up in the excitement of a great day, but I do realize that those types of things shouldn’t happen. I need to specifically apologize to the Bills, their fans, our fans and the NFL.”
never thought i would say this about bud adams, but after a major brainfart, this is pretty classy. good move on his part.

actually, technically the bills did cheat during the comeback game when don bebee stepped out of bounce en route to a long TD catch that put the game within reach for the bills.

(not towards pray4thebill just to fans claiming cheating in general) cheating is when you purposely conspire to defeat the intent of the rules (spygate)..the refs missing a call here and there is part of the game whether youd like to admit it or not..with that said the proper call was made during kickoff that won us the game..hell even scientific studies and calculations have been made to prove such..buffalo fans are so stubborn they are blind to the truth…my bad i meant toronto

Sheesh, Bills fans still can’t accept that the MMM was the right call, and that both the NFL and Discovery networks have shown the proof. I’ll remember that play as long as I’ll remember sitting on my couch when you made the biggest comeback of playoff history, at least Oiler/Titans fans can accept that.
