Winfield out, Berrian in for Vikings

Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield will miss his fourth straight game on Sunday because of a foot injury.

Winfield was listed as doubtful, but the team was holding out some hope he'd be able to play after making progress during a week of practice. Benny Sapp will start in his place once again, with Asher Allen and Karl Paymah, who was listed as questionable with an ankle injury, in the mix as well.

Bernard Berrian, who was limited in practice this week by a hamstring injury, will be in the lineup.

The Seahawks won't have cornerback Josh Wilson available to cover him. Wilson is inactive because of a concussion and Kelly Jennings will start in his place. Marcus Trufant was also dealing with a concussion this week, but he will be in the lineup on Sunday in Minneapolis. Defensive tackle Craig Terrill is also inactive, which means Red Bryant will likely see time in the Seattle rotation on the defensive line.

The rest of the inactives for the Seahawks and Vikings are available at NFL.com.

Its funny how many Vikes fans were all "Winfield'll be back next week" the week he got hurt. Next week is probably the first week they even actually consider letting him play, just like I was saying when his injury was firs announced.
