Firing Dick Jauron did not change the rotten luck of the Buffalo Bills, especially on the offensive line.
The team lost both their starting guards from Sunday's close loss to the Jaguars for the rest of the season. Rookie first-round pick Eric Wood required immediate surgery for a compound fracture in his right leg. (The surgery went well.) The injury was so gruesome, CBS didn't show replays.
"That young man was in pain," coach Perry Fewell said. "That was not a
pretty sight to see. . . . That's part of our game, but as a human being
you never want to see that happen to another."
The Bills also lost guard Seth McKinney for the season with a torn meniscus. Buffalo only has five healthy linemen and will likely have to sign some players for Sunday's game against Miami.
Marshawn Lynch was "feeling better" Monday after hurting his shoulder; his status for this week seems uncertain.
Bills lose two more linemen for season

The god damned city is cursed!!!!!! They say the stadium is build on an Indian burial ground. CURSED!
They should sign the argo's line. They would do a better job.
Dear Eric Wood,
Please get better. I....I ...i can't even bear to watch that video again. oh my god, that is without question the worst video i've seen since McGahee and Joe Theisman.
I can't even imagine how much pain that must have caused. Best wishes to Eric Wood, come back next season 100%.
OTOH, it wasn't blood and guts, tears and vomit, so I don't see why they wouldn't replay it on TV if they don't mind showing a quarterback gettting his head almost knocked off, or a collegiate player knocking himself out after taking a eight foot plunge in the endzone.
Here's to Eric Wood and Seth McKinney recovering.
The poor Bills. I'm starting to think they really are cursed.
Hmm I wonder if Derrick Dockery, Jason Peters and Langston Walker could've helped the Bills offensive line this year
Wait... the Bills HAD linemen?
Good job yesterday Bills fan. That was an ugly lost for you and a ugly win for us. You did have some calls that didn't go your way. Good luck on the coaching search.
Right now the Bills are set to draft at number 5 overall in next year's draft.
Will the Browns, Bucs, Rams, or Lions draft a QB ahead of them?
Start thinking draft Bills fans.
I'm not even joking when i say this. There is a graveyard at Ralph Wilson Stadium, right next to the parking lot, about 100 yards from the entrance to the stadium. You can see it on google earth. Dead serious!!! My friends and I have tailgated near there, it is surrounded by a fence.
In case you don't beleive me about the graveyard at the stadium... http://www.wgrz.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=71443&catid=13

Eh, the Sabres are doing well
Its hard to see these kinds of injuries happen, let alone to hard working kids like Eric Wood. This kid has worked his tail off since hes been in the league. Injuries like this should happen to lazy turds like JaMarcus Russell, not Eric Wood.
Wood is a huge loss for the Bills. Solid rookie year all things considered. Buffalo is down to 5 healthy o-lineman now. What a mess. Maybe Rex Ryan can give up his coaching gig and play guard for us. Fat turd.
