On Sunday, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo took a knee to the back.
On Thursday, the Cowboys host the Raiders.
On Monday, Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said that he thinks Romo will be able to play.
Romo has told Phillips that the signal-caller “feels a lot better” a day after suffering the injury, which caused him to miss no snaps on Sunday against the Redskins.
The Raiders will come to town with a bit of a swagger; they upset the Bengals on Sunday via a Heidi-style finish, scoring 10 points in the final 40 seconds.

Romo better play this week. It’s his last chance to put up some decent stats before his December collapse.

Even when he outcoaches Andy Reid? Which he usually does, he has a winning record against Reid. And Zorn and and I believe he’s tied with Coughlin since he took over as head coach of the Cowboys.

Why would anyone “hate” a team that has accomplished NOTHING since 1996? Every team that has faced Dallas in the playoffs since then has walked away a winner. Why hate what you roll over? The Raiders had some swagger after beating the Eagles, too, and all that got them was a 38-0 beatdown by a lousy Jets team. I’d love to see Oakland beat Dallas, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
