It's Tuesday. And that means we start off a mid-morning post with the sentence, "It's Tuesday."
And then we say, "The power rankings are ready."
And then we post a link to them.
And then we invite you to ridicule them.
And then we say, "As if you needed an invitation."
And then we post the thing and move on to the next item on the list.
And then you turn off the monitor when the boss is walking by your cubicle on his way to the break room for his third donut of the morning.
And then you break wind just before he walks back and you wonder whether he'll notice it and, if so, whether he'll say anything.
And then you turn the monitor back on and wonder how we have managed to capture such an accurate snapshot of your life.
And then you smile.
And then you curse us.
It's the Tuesday power rankings routine

Atlanta and Miami have the same record, and Atlanta beat Miami. So Florio math puts Miami ahead of Atlanta. Cool.
After seeing this week's ranking "Crying Rex" will need more than tissues.
How in the world can you justify putting the raiders ahead of the Jets. Jets have a better record and beat them in there place 38-0 just 3 weeks ago ? Do you pick the teams out of a hat or do you put any thought in it.
The Vikings schedule from here looks great, especially because Jay Cutler isn't sure what football is right now.
On another note, all Broncos fans have left the building. Overrated at the beginning of the season? Yes, yes they were.

Atlanta is 1-4 their last 5 games while Miami is 3-2 with good showings in the loss to N.O. and N.E.
I'm not saying it's right, but I can see where one may put Miami ahead of Atlanta.
Florio, man! I've tried to give you the benefit of the doubt but I can't do it any more. I do not understand how you make your picks. Is it the magic eight ball or something? And it's not even one or two that are off by a rank or two. There are at least five teams that you have way off (by three to four places or more). NBC shouldn't let this type of "journalism" bear their name unchecked.
The Jets behind the Chiefs and the Raiders? Now that is disrespect Rex.
How in the world can you justify putting the raiders ahead of the Jets.
