Cowboys claim early lead over Raiders

The Dallas Cowboys, shut out during the first three quarters of each of the past two games, have managed a first-quarter three-pointer on Thursday against the Raiders.

Kicker Nick Folk capped a five-play, 59-yard drive with a 36-yard field goal.  The effort was fueled by a 66-yard run from Tashard Choice, who took a direct snap in Wildcat formation.

The Raiders have been moving the ball, but they were not able to sustain a drive during the first 15 minutes of action.

note the amazing ball movement. by both teams, especially the cowboys.
    oh wait.
the cowboys are playing the what, 27th ranked defense? romo is 7 of 14 right now. either the raiders are that good or the cowboys are that bad. my bet is the latter.

This game sucks. The Raiders are horrible. Too bad that Time Warner Cable are a bunch of tea-bagging a-holes and won’t carry the NFL Network, so we’re stuck actually having to interact with relatives after this game is over.

“The Raiders have been moving the ball, but they were not able to sustain a drive during the first 15 minutes of action.”
Great analysis. The Raiders get one 1st down then punt on every single ‘drive’ in the first half, never cross the 50 yard line (in the first half) and you claim they are ‘moving the ball’?
Too much tryptophan is clouding your analytical ability.
