A forgettable Thursday night for the Giants got a little worse in the second half when running back D.J. Ware suffered a concussion.
Ware was known as Danny before tonight, but has asked to be called D.J. from now on. We'd normally make a smart ass remark about this, but the man just suffered a concussion.
Ware was filling in for Ahmad Bradshaw as Brandon Jacobs' backup, and rushed four times for 27 yards in the game.
Brandon Jacobs rushed for only 27 yards on 11 carries. The Giants offensive line was perhaps the league's best run blocking unit a year ago, but couldn't push around Denver's lightweight front seven Thursday.
UPDATE: Mario Manningham was favoring with his left shoulder after the game.

it's Danny Ware, isn't it?
And after his concussion, he wants to be known as D.J. Where?
"We'd normally make a smart ass remark about this, but the man just suffered a concussion"
That, and the fact that you probably can't think of a smart ass remark. Haha nice try
Without all of the attention surrounding concussions as of late I bet this would go unreported.
Nice to see a trickle down effect so players are not exposed to multiple concussions and eventually end up like Troy Aikman.
"Lightweight" front seven? Do you even know what you're talking about?
Denver runs a 3-4, so they are anything but "lightweight" up front.
Their three starting defensive lineman weight 295, 297 and 314.
Their four starting linebackers weigh 242, 248, 251, and 267.
So...good job.
I believe I remember him saying that he was always known as DJ Ware, and it is an homage to his father. Or something like that.
Thats what you get for droping the ball DJ that should be your new job spining records why not call Plex he knows all the hot clubs
