As the St. Louis Rams prepare for a rare opportunity to get an even more rare win, their workhorse tailback might not be available.
Steven Jackson has missed practice Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with a sore back. He is listed as questionable for Sunday's visit from the Seahawks.
Per the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, coach Steve Spanuolo suggested that Jackson's availability will be a game-time decision.
"I trust Steven and what he can tell me," Spagnuolo said. "The
competitive juices come out. But I think he's been in the league long
enough that he knows he doesn't want to hurt the team, yet he wants to
be out there to help the team."
Quarterback Marc Bulger is out with a broken leg, and tackle Jason Smith is doubtful with a concussion. According to the Post-Dispatch, Spagnuolo said Friday that Smith won't be playing.

the Rams are a total debacle.
He could only carry the team for so long before his back would become sore. Surprised he made it this far into the season.
Jackson is in the worst position of any elite player in the league.... The guy has nothing around him on offence but still puts up numbers. MAybe he will choose to retire early like Barry Sanders did.
Steven....please ask for a trade. Your too good of a player to want to play on that team. Winning 2 or 3 games a year is a joke
