Harvin added to injury report, probable with illness

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin has been added to the team’s injury report because of an illness. Harvin is listed as probable.

Harvin is the second high-profile Vikings offensive player to be listed on the injury report as having an illness; running back Adrian Peterson is questionable because of both an illness and an ankle injury.

Two Vikings players, defensive linemen Fred Evans and Jayme Mitchell, were sick last week. But the Minneapolis Star Tribune points out that it’s not clear whether Harvin caught something that’s going around the Vikings’ locker room or whether Harvin was listed on the injury report because of migraine headaches, which have affected him for most of his life.

Harvin has played well when dealing with migraines: In the Vikings’ Week Three victory over the 49ers, he shook off migraines well enough to catch four passes and return a kickoff for a touchdown.

The Vikings host the Bears Sunday at 4 p.m. Eastern.
