Matt Bryant gets another chance at NFL level

The Las Vegas Locos possibly will be celebrating their UFL championship by going to Disneyworld.  The kicker of the team they beat, which plays its home games near Disneyworld, definitely will be celebrating defeat by going to Phoenix.  And Atlanta.

The Orlando Sentinel recently reported that Matt Bryant, who finished the year as the kicker for the Florida Tuskers and who previously kicked for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will be trying out on Saturday for the Cardinals.  He also has a tentative tryout lined up with the Falcons, who might be giving Jason Elam the boot.

Bryant converted two extra-point tries on Friday for the Tuskers, and made one of two field goal attempts.  His 27-yard field goal with 2:10 to play forced overtime.  Bryant missed a 51-yarder in the second quarter.

Las Vegas is the adult version of Disneyworld, why in the hell would they go to the kiddie version? I guess’ their UFL salaries will go a little bit further there.
“It was good football, though I still can’t get over the ticket scalper standing outside Sam Boyd Stadium asking $40 for a 40-yard line seat.”
“But the face value is $50,” he said, “and this is the Super Bowl of the UFL.”

Let’s see unless the tryout Saturday is in Tennessee where Whis and the gang are currently located I don’t think it will be much of a tryout

Nice marketing; I didn’t even know there was a game!
