Bengals' Benson, Coles in; Rivers out

The Cincinnati Bengals expect to have starting running back Cedric Benson and starting wide receiver Laveranues Coles on the field for today's game against the Cleveland Browns.

UPDATE: Benson is inactive.

They will not, however, have starting linebacker Keith Rivers.

All three players were limited in practice this week and listed as questionable on the injury report, but Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that Benson and Coles are good to go, while Rivers will miss the game.

Coles has started all 10 games this season and caught 29 passes for 355 yards and three touchdowns. Benson started the first nine games of the season before missing last week, and he has 205 carries for 859 yards and six touchdowns. Rivers started the Bengals' first eight games but will now miss his third straight.

The 7-3 Bengals are looking to improve to 6-0 in the AFC North.

Bengals are not a good team until they beat the Steelers at home....

    ...............
Get to go to Vikings and Chargers and probably still will clinch the division.

Bengals should rest Ced until Minnesota game. They have the Browns and Lions back to back. Scott and L. Johnson can use the work at RB. If the "orange and black" can't win the next two games w/o Benson, they don't belong in the playoffs.

Coles has been meshing well with the Bengals' O recently, and hopefully will continue to learn the system. Rivers has yet to live up to expectations after being taken in the first round of last year's draft. His value to the team is still very much up in the air...
