Cincinnati Bengals running back Cedric Benson is inactive for today’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
Earlier this morning Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reported that Benson was expected to play, but when the official inactive list came out, Benson was on it.
The Bengals’ other inactives are third quarterback Jordan Palmer, center Jonathan Luigs, linebacker Keith Rivers, tight end Chase Coffman, wide receiver Jerome Simpson, fullback Fui Vakapuna and defensive tackle Orien Harris.
The Browns’ inactives include defensive back Coye Francies, defensive back Gerard Lawson, linebacker David Veikune, guard Billy Yates, wide receiver Brian Robiskie, tight end Robert Royal and third quarterback Brett Ratliff.
Did he reinjure himself in warm ups? I need him back for next week. Fantasy Playoffs start.
somebody please point out JUST ONE TIME that jason la canfora has been correct about something
way to go Benson.
You know who I don’t see on the inactive list? Man-Boobs himself. Lets see if he was worth our first pick.
Not good….
UrbanaBengal, hasn’t A. Smith suited up before and not gotten any reps, in spite of it. I don’t think that making him active really means very much. I’d love to see him get in the game and actually play some, and this might be just the game to experiment with him.
