Cutler's first pick gives him 16 on the road

Sunday marks the Bears’ sixth road game of the year.  And when quarterback Jay Cutler threw an interception in the end zone during the second quarter of a game the Vikings currently lead, 17-7, the franchise quarterback coughed up his 16th interception of the year during away games.

The pick by Cedric Griffin of an underthrown ball preserved the 10-point lead, and gave Cutler 19 total interceptions for the year.

Given the manner in which Vikings defensive end Jared Allen has been chasing Cutler around throughout the first half of the game, Cutler probably is good for one or two more.

UPDATE:  And just as we posted this one, the aforementioned Jared Allen registered the aforementioned second interception.

Missed the PI on the Allen INT…
Can’t wait for the Vikings to face a winning team again…maybe a team that has a defense that doesn’t allow a receiver to be open by 10 friggin yards on every play.
It’s not Favre, it’s the system.

….and Bayless will still carry Cutler’s water. Pretty pathetic really. No matter how bad Cutler is, it is never his fault, blah, blah, blah.

Domination. Destruction. Demolition. There’s not a team in the NFL that I fear. We’re too good…I wonder what those purple rings will look like….

Are you really so inept that you can’t even make a post all by yourself? Or are you finally admitting that you have multiple personality disorder?

Thank you for being the idiot of the day. The Vikes have faced a team with a winning record, your beloved Packers and their tandem of Pro Bowl CB’s. And they destroyed them. Twice. Favre throws for over 500 yds and 7 TDs in the 2 games.
And the system you claim deserves all the credit, it’s the same one ran in Green Bay, the same one Favre has been in for 17 years, and the same one Rodgers is benefiting from. So when you say it’s not Favre, it’s the system, you’re unknowingly (shocking for someone of your intellect) bashing the Preseason MVP Rodgers. Now get back to work, my Big Mac isn’t going to cook itself.

    Pack83,
I cant wait til the Packers dont suck! After this game you will be down 3 games with 5 to go, YOU HAVE NO CHANCE! You dont seem to get it, the defense doesnt know how to defend us. Stuff the box for AP and get burned by Favre or play coverage and have favre dink and dunk you to death. We owned you twice this year and you cant stand it!

    Pack83,
Invest in some O-Line and a decent RB and come back and talk smack. Why do packer fans feel the need to troll all day long

  14. VikingsPimp says: Nov 29, 2009 6:33 PM

I just realized the Vikings could clinch the North next week with a win and a Packer loss. The Magic Number after today is 2

  16. VikingsPimp says: Nov 29, 2009 6:56 PM

Another 30 point game for the Vikings!! Need to clean up those penalties though, some of them looked bunk as hell

  17. Contra says: Nov 29, 2009 6:57 PM

After the season the Packers have had you would figure that Packer fans would have stopped posting on Vikings related news. I mean, come on, you guys must like getting your face rubbed in your own crap all day long. When is it too much for you guys? How many times burning your hand on a hot stove will it take before you stop? It’s ridiculous hahaha, face it…Packers are DONE this year!

  18. PervyHarvin says: Nov 29, 2009 7:00 PM

Pack83 – You know,at least we get some AFC games to say we play someone(Pitt,Cincy,Balt) Cuz God knows all we get is shit opponents in the NFC North (Packers,Bears,Lions)
