Haynesworth out vs. Eagles

Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth will be inactive for today’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Jason La Canfora of NFL Network is reporting.

Haynesworth, who is listed as questionable with an ankle injury, did make the trip to Philadelphia with the team. But he is apparently going to need to miss his second consecutive game.

After signing a lucrative contract in the off-season, Haynesworth started the Redskins’ first nine games, recording three sacks and playing well against the run. But the ankle injury is an ongoing concern.

The 3-7 Redskins take on the 6-4 Eagles at 1 p.m. Eastern.

Nice, Birds need all the help they can get in order to get ‘shady’ going. Hope to see a heavy dose of Weaver and McCoy today.

Wow, with Hayesworth out the Eagles might be able to do something on Offense. The birds would have lost the previous game if a few miracles wouldn’t have happened. Play better Birds. Lets Go
