The Washington Redskins will surely lead the league in one thing today: Money spent on inactive players.
The Redskins’ list of inactives for today’s game against the Eagles includes a number of expensive members of the roster, including defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, running back Clinton Portis, cornerback DeAngelo Hall and tight end Chris Cooley.
The Redskins’ other inactive players are third quarterback Richard Bartel, linebacker Robert Henson, guard Paul Fanaika and defensive end Renaldo Wynn.
The Eagles’ inactive list also includes some expensive players, highlighted by running back Brian Westbrook. The Eagles’ other inactives are offensive lineman Stacy Andrews, wide receiver Kevin Curtis, running back P.J. Hill, linebacker Akeem Jordan, offensive lineman Mike McGlynn, cornerback Geoffrey Pope and third quarterback Kevin Kolb.
Well, Operation “Shut-It-Down” appears to be working as planned in DC.
1 problem guard Paul Fanaika plays for the Eagles not the Redskins.
what a waste of money that haynesworth is..plays every other down and takes a couple of weeks off….hey landry…lets hear u talk now as u just blew a coverage…eagles r rolling and going to pound those horrible 4skins.
