As expected, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Isaac Bruce is among the inactive players for today's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Although Bruce is one of the most productive receivers in league history, and although he started the season as San Francisco's top receiver, he has been phased out of the offense. He's inactive today and may stay inactive the rest of the season.
The 49ers' other inactives are third quarterback Nate Davis, running back Michael Robinson, wide receiver C C.Wallace, wide receiver Arnez Battle, cornerback Nate Clements, offensive tackle Joe Staley and defensive lineman Ricky Jean-Francois.
The Jaguars' inactives are wide receiver Nate Hughes, cornerback Rashean Mathis, defensive tackle Derek Landri, offensive tackle Tra Thomas, offensive tackle Maurice Williams, offensive tackle Paul McQuistan and defensive tackle Greg Peterson.
