Kurt Warner officially inactive

The inactive list for today’s Cardinals-Titans game is out, and, as expected, Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner is out with a concussion.

Although the other high-profile quarterback who’s out with a concussion today, Ben Roethlisberger, is reportedly going to be the Steelers’ third quarterback, the Cardinals’ official web site reports that Warner isn’t dressing at all, not even as the emergency quarterback. If both starter Matt Leinart and backup Brian St. Pierre get hurt, wide receiver Anquan Boldin, who played quarterback at Florida State, would take the snaps.

As expected, quarterback Kurt Warner (concussion) is being held out of today’s game, meaning Matt Leinart will start and Brian St. Pierre will be the backup. The move ends Warner’s consecutive starts streak at 41 and because of the injury, he isn’t the third quarterback either. I assume that makes Anquan Boldin the emergency QB.

The Cardinals’ other inactives include safety Rashad Johnson, offensive linemen Herman Johnson and Brandon Keith, linebackers Will Davis and Reggie Walker, right end Stephen Spach and wide receiver Jerheme Urban.
