Yea, larry came in here knowing he wasn’t THE bell cow back, Ced knows this as well, so does Benny, so does Brian. Why would he be upset that there are three GOOD Rb’s behind him? He’s signed through next year and Larry is auditioning for other teams, lame take.

There’s no reason for Benson to be unhappy. He didn’t have to rush back for two games, and in each case, the backups had 100 yard games. But those were against the raiders (i know they lost) and the browns. Benson put up a c-note on the ravens twice this season. Benson won’t have to grind into the stretch run, he’ll be 100% healthy and fresh. I’d like to see him out there this week, but if he’s even a little gimpy, rest him so that he is 100% for minnesota.

This was not our “we’re playing the Browns” offense, this was our “we really miss Chris Henry as a deep threat” offense.
Until Jerome Simpson or Maurice Purify establishes himself as a legit replacement for Henry, I see (sadly) many more games like this for the Bengal offense.
Good win though. Here’s hoping the Steelers and Ravens split and cancel one another out of contention.

At the game today, just rough to watch.
Bengals offense is circa 1962 – run, run and a pass of 10 yards or less. Defense has them 8-3. They’ll make the playoffs and it’s one and done. Zimmer will be a head coach next year with the job he’s done with this crew.
Took my 11-year old son who is the Browns fan – too bad for him, just awful and a chicken sh*t coach who punted on 4th down in the fourth quarter twice. Hey Mangini, your team has one win – go for when it’s 4th and 3 and you’re inside the 50.

The Browns are 1-10 and just playing out the string, but the Bengals are contenders. And there’s no bigger surprise this season than a team in contention having Cedric Benson and Larry Johnson as its 1-2 punch at running back.
Actually it is Cedric Benson, Bernard Scott, and Larry Johnson as the 1-2-3 punch

Is it ridiculous if it’s right?
I feel bad for Browns fans. They are loyal and they deserve better. I’ve never seen a quarterback throw so many passes at the line of scrimmage as Brady Quinn does. That team has very little talent, which is unbelievable considering where they draft.
