Michael Turner's high ankle sprain won't keep him out of Sunday's do-or-die contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The running back is active, and the team is well-stocked in reserve in case he aggravates the injury over the course of the afternoon. Jerious Norwood makes his return to the lineup after missing five games with a hip injury. Those two will be joined by Jason Snelling as the Falcons attempt to attack a Buccaneers defense that lost its coordinator Jim Bates this week.
There aren't any notable lineup changes for the Buccaneers, and you can find out all the inactives for both teams at NFL.com.
The Falcons need a victory to remain in the mix for a playoff berth in the NFC, as a loss would put them at least a game and a half out of the picture with five games to play.

Why do all the PFT updates occur immediately after either Adam Schefter or a Mort tweet with the same content? Guys, be original!!!
A lot of people want to criticize this move, saying the Falcons can beat the Bucs without him. While this is true, it is not guaranteed. And given the importance of winning this game, I think it's smart to play Turner. They can always take him out after building a lead.
Ya, how'd that one work out for yall? Hindsight is always 20-20, but it's not like Snelling was sucking ass or anything.
