Ryan won't return for Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons have announced, Twitter style, that quarterback Matt Ryan won’t be returning to Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers, due to a toe injury.

The injury occurred early in the game.  Ryan left after throwing only three passes.

As of this posting, Chris Redman has completed eight of nine passes for 107 yards and a touchdown.

The Bucs and the Falcons currently are tied at 10.

Redman has good numbers, so I dont want to hear any excuses from Falcons fans as this being the reason why they MIGHT lose. Bucs are stuffing the run for once and have 5 sacks thru 2 quarters. Back to playing a defense they know and comfortable with (Tampa 2/Zone) has helped the Bucs. Oh and I will take Freeman over the other rookie quarterbacks chosen before him all day everyday

Teams can tweet in-game but players can’t? Sounds like the man is tryin’ to keep me down!
