Sanchez leaves with injury

Jets fans that have oddly wanted to see Kellen Clemens at quarterback have got their wish for now.

Mark Sanchez was knocked out of New York’s game in the third quarter after being hit on a run while he was falling out of bounds.

He was stretching out his knee on the sideline and the team trainer appeared to put a small sleeve on his knee.  The Jets drive stalled with Clemens in the game, and Sanchez looks like he may come back in.

Sanchez was 11-of-14 for 127 yards for the injury and the Jets are winning 14-3.  We’ll keep you updated on whether he returns.

UPDATE: Sanchez has re-entered the game on New York’s next drive.  No one holds down Mark Sanchez.
