Texans taking it to the Colts

The NFL has two 10-0 teams for the first time since 1990.

When that last occurred, both of the undefeated squads stalled out the very next week.

The Giants lost to the Eagles and the 49ers fell to the Rams, ruining what would have been a meeting of two 11-0 teams on Monday Night Football.

This week, the two 10-0 teams face stiff challenges, with the Colts at Houston and the Saints hosting the Patriots on Monday night.

For Indy, the going has gotten even tougher, with the Texans seizing a 14-0 lead.

Matt Schaub has completed eight of eight passes for 99 yards and a touchdown, to Vonta Leach.  Chris Brown has contributed a score on the ground.

The first quarter just ended with the Colts driving, but with a holding penalty possibly slowing things down.

Please tell the Colts that there is a game going on and that they are in it.

Don’t worry. The Colts don’t need to be in it. Like I said last week, when the Colts are out of the game, the refs will make sure they get back in it.
Sure enough, as usual, Manning gets a PI call on a deep ball that puts the Colts in scoring position. This is how they win most all of the games they play when they are behind in a game that is a two or more score game. Throw deep, don’t worry about making the pass so that the receiver will catch it, because the refs will give you the yards anyways. The ball this week was so obvious it isn’t even funny, this cheating is so blatant. The ball wasn’t even catchable, and there was no contact. Now the Colts are 6 points behind with a chance to win. If the Colts get behind again, look for another one, deep in the Texans side of the field. You may even see one if the score is still the same but the time is getting late and the Colts need the refs to get down the field for a chance to win.
Folks, Manning isn’t a great QB. He is made great because the refs make sure he gets huge PI calls whenever he is behind. It is obvious, blatant, and it isn’t bad officiating, because it only and always goes one way, for Manning.

Thanks for putting the kibosh on yet another game, Florio. Not like the Colts needed it to come back, nor did the Texans need it to fall apart yet again.

Nice headline florio. You should change it to “Texans taking up the *** again”.

The P.I call was not correct. Colts would have won anyway though, they would have still scored at least a field goal if not the interception run back happened that would have put the Colts up by one. It just seems like the Colts loaf until they really feel like they have to score. All this does and I’m a Colts fan, is when they play a REAL team again they will have the same tendencies and the Charger, Patriots, will have the fire power to not let them back in the game. I’m not going to get giddy and comfortable about the Colts winning games they should dominate. The real teams in the AFC are teams that beat a Manning led Colts in the Playoffs every year, luckily for him Pittsburg will not make the playoffs so now it’s down to the 2 teams. I hope I’m wrong, but I see the Chargers team better this year then last year and I see a Patriots team even on the road playing a better game then the one they let the Colts have. I won’t let myself get sucked in again by the Colts winning regular season games then get looked like a schmuck everytime I pick them to win the Superbowl after they get embarrased by a team with a losing record. If were you take your money and bet on the other team this year you’ll be a millionaire, they will always be favored to win in Vegas.
