With Charlie Weis coming from the NFL and likely heading back to the NFL after he’s officially fired by Notre Dame, the developments of the final hours of his tenure in South Bend are relevant in these parts.
But they’re also relevant to CFT, too. So yours truly posted a blurb on the latest development at CFT.
Bottom line? Weis continued his media blackout after the game, refusing to talk to reporters. Instead, he gave a radio interview.
Click here for what he said.
Nobody cares.
Mediocre NFL assistant takes mediocre HC job at a mediocre college program. Mediocre coaching performance for a few years and will now return to the elite NFL? To do what, exactly?
I agree – nobody cares. If it were not for the media focus on ND, the football program there would have long since faded into obscurity.
As for Weis, in my opinion he was vastly overrated as an NFL coach (NE did just fine without him), and that simply carried over to ND.
Funny, you say nobody cares, yet here you are reading about it.
since I love watching dame lose I will miss watching the fat slob waddling the the sidelines every week.hope they hire another overrated coach just like him.
