Any thoughts that the Browns offense turned a corner in Week 11 were wiped out in Sunday's 16-7 loss to the Bengals.
Browns WR Josh Cribbs was frustrated that the Bengals refused to punt the ball to him.
The Browns lost DE Kenyon Coleman, DB Brodney Pool, DT Shaun Rogers and LB Kamerion Wimbley, all starters, to injuries during Sunday's loss.
Browns WR Chansi Stuckey wasn't able to hold onto two third-down passes that would have resulted in first downs.
QB Brady Quinn's catch of a pass from Cribbs was the second longest offensive play of the day for the Browns.
RB Larry Johnson had 107 yards and the Bengals ran for 210 as a team even though Cedric Benson remained out with a hip injury.
Said QB Carson Palmer, who completed 13 of 24 passes for 110 yards, "They weren't going to let us throw the ball over their heads. They let us run the
ball for 200 yards. We stuck with the game plan and kept pushing
the ball."
The Bengals allowed only 58 yards rushing and haven't allowed 100 yards on the ground in a franchise-record seven games.
Bengals T Andre Smith made his NFL debut and played about a dozen snaps.
K Shayne Graham tied a career-high with a 53-yard field goal at the end of the first half after a Browns penalty put the Bengals in position to try the kick.
