Patriots' line getting healthy

After missing the last five games with a knee injury, Patriots left tackle Matt Light is active tonight against the New Orleans Saints.

Joining him on the line will be right guard Stephen Neal, who missed last week with a concussion. The Patriots’ line is the healthier than it’s been at any point in the last month.

Also active for the Patriots is running back Sammy Morris, who, like Neal and Light, was listed as questionable this week.

Inactive for the Patriots are wide receiver Julian Edelman (listed as the third quarterback), running back Fred Taylor, cornerback Kyle Arrington, cornerback Shawn Springs, linebacker Junior Seau, guard Rich Ohrnberger, defensive tackle Ron Brace and offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer.

The only Patriot i want to get healthy/even care about is Fred Taylor. The guy was huge for Jacksonville and one of the all time best RBs but doesn’t get his props. New England is a great place for him to showcase and get the attention he deserves….hopefully he can get healthy soon before his time is done in the NFL altogether.

Yeah, yeah, yeah….heard you on Duemig’s show today Florio hole. Remember your surprise pick for this year, the Redskins? How’s that working out for ya? And stop with the Gruden hate….why? Jealous much? You and Duemig should get together and piss on a picture of Chucky ( you might be doing something else ) get off the guy already. He’s a 1 million times more successful than you’ll ever be. Again. Lawyer, maybe, football analyst? Not so much. TMZ is looking for people. Maybe you should apply your National Enquirer skills there….

Ouch. Not having Vollmer in there hurts. Nice to have Light back, but I think Vollmer is your better option. Also not having Springs hurts, but we should have a good secondary.
Pats look healthy enough to bring it on both sides of the ball. Gonna be an interesting game.

    stanjam,
I’m pretty sure Springs is a healthy scratch and has been for the last 4 or 5 games. BB prefers the kids (and Bodden) it seems.

Bad news for Springs. Non factor all year.
BB seems to be developing the rookies.
    Vollmer must have a concussion.

Gotta showcase Matt Light for a few games so they can trade his ass for another 2010 1st rounder
