New power rankings are ready, earlier than usual

I had too much caffeine tonight in order to be sharp for the Monday night game, and of course the Monday night game has been over for almost an hour and I'm too wired to sleep.

So I finished off the Week 12 power rankings, earlier than usual.

Don't get used to it.

I believe the Colts could beat the Vikings.

And like always, the Browns are too high.

lets be honest here, you got'em done on a "sprint device" while you were supposed to be doing something else, just needed to figure out number 1 and 2 and possible number 3 and 4 should the pats have won. its good that its early, so thank you.

just for the record, the vikes have a hell of a better O and D line than the pats as well as a better secondary. it could be a fantastic game if it comes.

You have too much caffeine EVERY week. Why MSNBC cuts you a check is BEYOND me.....

    7. Dallas Cowboys (8-3) (Last week: 9). The Cowboys will get a strong dose of reality later this month, when they head to the Superdome.

...couldn't have put it better myself. Lets see if this spot has any real holding power. Coach Cupcake and Red Jesus have a lot of pressure on them to have these guys ready for the upcoming games.

    ...Jerry is watching.

the VIKINGS will stomp a mud hole in the Saints ass......unlike the Patriots we have a complete & balanced team...and oh yea, we have a better quarterback too. IF the Saints make the NFC championship the Vikes will show them what a joke the truly are.

...sorta like the '98 Falcons showed the Vikes what a joke they were. Square and true, Morten. You stud.

    LBPACKFAN:

It must suck to have to resort to wishing and hoping for a crash and burn for a rival team, huh?

Maybe next year, in the meantime, you could stick a fork in a toaster, then you wouldn't have to worry about it. Just a thought.

Vikings played 3 decent teams, squeaked by in two and lost one by 10 points.
Colts would win all 3 of them in the normal dramatic fashion.

Soft schedule + soft qb + rb with soft hands = January letdown.
Minus the Cardinals any team in the top 10 could beat them in any given week, can't say that for the Colts or Saints, maybe even Chargers and Bengals.

We'll see when the Bengals play the Vikings soon enough.

Is it coincidence that all the top teams record wise are DOME teams?!

  13. LBPACKFAN says: December 1, 2009 9:58 AM

    Chickendouche -

Who said I am wishing for a crash and burn? Favre and Vikes are a really really good team. I give them all the credit in the world.

The Patriots are ranked too high. You have them ranked above the Broncos, who they lost to. The Patriots should be ranked about 12th.

Why is it that Vikings and Packer fans can bicker back and forth on every damn post? You guys need to get a life.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA!

You have the 5-6 Titans over the 7-4 Broncos....

That makes plenty of sense there Florio. Just because Vinny has them on a nice little winning streak, mostly against weaker opponents in SF, Buffalo and the Kurt Warner-less Cardinals(who they barely beat), doesn't make them better than a team who has 2 more wins and has beaten the likes of the following teams; New England, San Diego, New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys and Cincy.

I am sorry Florio, you cannot justify your Vince Young man crush here buddy.
