Earlier this year, the Oakland Raiders purchased a series of billboards in the Bay Area, featuring a variety of non-memorable memorable plays from past seasons of football.
So it makes sense, we suppose, that Raiders fans have gone the billboard route, too.
The folks at MessageToAl.com have purchased a billboard, apparently with someone’s credit card, demanding that owner Al Davis hire a G.M.
We admire the effort, but they’re wasting their money. Al Davis is gonna do what he damn well pleases, and even if he hires a G.M. it’ll be a G.M. who has no other options, and he’ll still have to do whatever Davis tells him to do.
