In Ohio this weekend, two NFL games will be played.
And there’s a chance that neither game will be broadcast locally.
The Bengals already have received a 24-hour extension to sell out their home game against the Lions. The Browns also have announced that a 24-hour extension has been granted to sell, as the team explained in a press release, “a few thousand tickets.”
The Browns have sold out all prior games this season, and they have not previously been required to seek an extension. But with a 1-10 record and key players falling like that live Christmas tree on which you got a great deal, some folks in Cuyahoga County would rather stay warm and dry and not nauseous.
The Browns now have until 4:05 p.m. ET Friday to sell the remaining tickets.
