PFT Daily: December 3, 2009

Here it is, just in time for you to finish your lunch hour.

Or, if you’re in the Central time zone, to start your lunch hour.

Or, if you’re in the Mountain or Western time zone, to justify screwing around for a few more minutes before actually working.

We look today at Wade Phillips’ status in Dallas, the coaching carousel that will being to whir a month from today, and the sudden front-office disarray in Seattle.

    Flo, lose your razor ?
Wade Phillips has the 2nd best record in The NFL since ’07-FACT. However, it’s about playoff wins, which he has ZERO. That needs to change. If he doesn’t, the coach will be gone. Wouldn’t you make a change ? Won’t it suck for you if it’s someone better than him ?
Wade’s tiffed at the media, not Jerry, for challenging his record/resolve. Get your story straight.

Hey, you need to cover the “Comcast buys NBC” story. It affects PFT because of the history between Comcast and the NFL Network, and Versus (owned by Comcast, broadcasting UFL games) and their problem with DirecTV (host of NFL Sunday Ticket).
If PFT is going to continue ripping NFL Network, it is now beyond NBC and NFLN having a rivalry in who provides better sports coverage, it’s now Comcast vs. the NFLN. They cut a deal but their must be corporate antagonism to a degree.

I just saw that Comcast finalized the NBC deal … I really hope that you will continue to report on the stories about Comcast vs NFL (Jerry Jones , Arlen Specter etc.) and investigate all angles like you did previously. I have a feeling that the opinion will differ from those stories on the original pft… please prove me wrong and provide unbiased reporting on this. That is the kind of reporting that hooked me on the site.

I guess the folks out in Hawaii can just roll over and go back to bed.
