Briggs and Pace doubtful for Rams game

The Chicago Bears may not have hit bottom just yet.

Losers of six of their last seven games, the Bears will likely have to face the Rams on Sunday without the services of linebacker Lance Briggs and tackle Orlando Pace.  Both players are listed as doubtful.

Pace likely won’t face his former team because of a strained groin.  Longtime Rams fans would barely recognize Pace anyhow because of his declining play.

Briggs (sprained knee) has possibly been Chicago’s best player on either side of the ball, so he will be tough to replace.

The Rams are nine point underdogs partly because of Kyle Boller’s presence in the lineup.  And because there are a lot more Bears fans out there than Rams fans.

Mike Florio predicted a blowout win in our PFT picks (undefeated this week so far!), but I wouldn’t be surprised to see an upset.  Over the last month, the Rams haven’t played any worse than the Bears.

Eh, who cares, Bears season is done, “well done” provided by Cutler’s torch yielding arm.

Boy am I embarrased. I didn’t know Pace even played this year.
It’s amazing. If we performed in our jobs as well as Pace has done this year we’d be fired. His time is long past and Angelo should get fired just for signing his sorry future HOF @ss.
Anyway, this year can’t be pinned on any one person including Cutler. However the current state of disarray (comments by players in media) can be placed squarely on Smith’s shoulders.
At least I have my Blackhawks and Saluki’s!!!

In the near future, Cutler will be a verb, not a franchise QB.

I doubt that Pace is going to play every Sunday so what else is new?

Heh, one bright spot for the Bears just got dimmer.
Sore back or not Steven J just added 50+ yards to his total with Briggs out.
Briggs was the last remaining starter from the beginning of the year too – Urlacher and the Flyin Hawaiian(Tinoisamoa) are already on IR.

We could of won the game on Sunday but our QB kept Cutlering around throwing horrible Cutlers in the red zone.

The Bears’ staff is completely inept at studying film of players and evaluating their talent.
A couple of years ago Adam Archuleta was a completely useless piece of crap for the Redskins. They were practically begging teams to take him off their hands, but nobody would because those teams actually know how to study film and knew Archy was freaking useless. Ah, but not the Bears. The Bears gladly took him, and even gave Washington like a 5th rounder or something, and installed him as their starter and shipped Chris Harris to Carolina for like a worthless 6th or 7th round pick.
    Same thing with Pace.
And when there’s guys out there who might actually still help, like Darren Sharper, the Bears incorrectly deem him to be washed up.
Who the hell is studying film for these idiots?
