Why do you keep insisting that Colbert and Khan are going to go where Cowher goes. First off they have said they are staying. Secondly, Colbert and Cowher had many disagreements. Third (and most importantly), it is my understanding that they are under contract for many more years to come, and the Steelers are not going to let them go. Finally, why would anyone (who can’t jump right into a TV gig) leave the most secure jobs in the NFL. The Steelers do not make panic decisions on front office\coaching personel because of a bad season (or sending inapropriate emails) like other teams do. If Bruce Arians can keep it up with out being fired, anyone can.

As a Saints fan, that was one of the best decisions Tampa ever made!!!!
Really stupid decision after what he did for that team. They had a slight collapse and unrealistic expectations. Their defense also got really old really quick.

I like how you just assume the Giants are going to beat the Cowboys, and set up your 0-5 scenario. How about we let them play the game first before you bury them again.

“fired off a Bud Adams salute”
    LOL!

interesting philosophy…if you suggest every single week that the saints are destined to lose a “trap game,” then perhaps one day it will be true and you might trick someone into thinking that you actually predicted an outcome on its own merit…very nice. keep up the good work.

Cowboys fans are thin skinned woos bags and probably get it from Romo. Anyway, I don’t read it as Florio assuming anything, he is just throwing out the possibility that if the Gints can beat the 2 teams in the division, they will be back in the mix. I do think the Boys are the better team but they are one of those better teams that seem to struggle down the stretch.
BTW, if my Pats lose this weekend, the Jets and Phins will be back in the mix.

“We’ve all been waiting for Vick to author a story of redemption”
    …………………………………………
second time this week you have used this phrase in connection wuth Vick (also in VY article in SN)
just curious what your criteria for redemption is…300 yds passing ? 100 rushing yards ?
a good performance on the football field = redemptation for past crimes?..lol…i do hope you werent a criminal lawyer

It’s not my policy to comment about our games before we play them, but if Mike Tomlin says he’s going to unleash hell, I’d be inclined to take him seriously.
As for Cowher, what do you expect him to say? “I want CAROLINA. Yessiree, if they’ll just fire John Fox, I’ll run right over.” If teams are stupid enough to fire coaches on spec for Cowher, that’s their problem. As for him bringing Colbert and Khan with him … what makes you think Colbert and Khan want to go? Any inside info you’d like to share? Beyond wild speculation, I mean.

Should have mentioned Vick saying he expects a standing ovation when he steps on the field in Atlanta.
He still thinks it is his town.
    Vick Bounty
NFC West is still a few years away from being competitive. Cards are declining and 49ers are rising but don’t expect another Cinderella story like the Cards had last year for awhile.
