Javorris Jackson, the brother of Detroit Lions defensive tackle Grady Jackson, has been convicted of second-degree murder in the shooting death of his girlfriend, the Associated Press is reporting.
A jury found Javorris Jackson guilty of killing Courtney Solomon in a hotel in Dearborn, Michigan on May 4. Jackson shot himself in the chest after shooting Solomon.
Jackson will be sentenced on December 21 and could receive up to life in prison.
A former high school football star in Southfield, Michigan, Javrorris Jackson played defensive back at Savannah State in 2007 and 2008. He was considered a possible late-round prospect in the 2009 NFL draft, but was not selected. The shooting took place just a week after the draft.

Slow news days suck donkey balls. have to read about NFL relatives or people who had a shot but never made it.
Maybe if the idiot spent his time in college actually going to school he could have made something of himself other than a PFT article. Being the object of a PFT article is pretty sweet though, he just didn't do it the right way.
