Injured finger causing concern about Brady?

This morningm PFT’s Mike Florio noted that there’s something fishy about today’s Dolphins-Patriots game, with speculation about an injury to Tom Brady possibly influencing betting on the game.

Now there’s more talk about an injury to Brady:  Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Brady suffered an injured finger on Friday.

However, Schefter reports that the Patriots don’t expect Brady to have any problem with the finger, that it sounds worse than it is, and that Brady will play today.

This talk about a Brady injury began earlier in the week, and Schefter’s report says Brady suffered the finger injury on Friday.  So the finger isn’t all that’s fueling the injury speculation.  But one way or another, Brady will be on the field today in Miami, and we’ll have an opportunity to judge for ourselves whether he looks healthy.

Don’t you mean ‘whether his finger looks healthy’…

I have lost so much respect for Tom “I will sue your a$$” Brady as a person. Now that is starting to translate to him professionally. This guy is soooo over rated!

Oh get over yourself! He IS over-rated. If he’d been drafted by the Detroit Lions or the Cleveland Browns, he’d be out of football by now – sitting on his couch, beer belly, and pretty wife waiting on him hand and foot (he only gets the pretty wife cuz he’s not too bad looking). My point being… he went into a system that allowed him to be an exceptional pocket passer, with an offense and defense that carried all of them to a few Super Bowls. Outside of that… he’s over-rated… just another average QB who got lucky.

I understand Tommy lives for your personal approval. Next time you leave a comment of this nature, please do it on a Monday so Brady has at least a few days to put it behind him. We need his head on right going into the homestretch. And overrated? Next to Jesus or Buddha, maybe.

Pats have yet to win a road game this year, could possibly do so against Miami who they beat earlier this year.
With Brady hurt, even playing hurt it would be smart to play money on the Dolphins. Then again Billy is going to have his troops fired up after being embarrassed last week. Doesn’t BB have a streak going where he hasn’t lost back-back games in awhile?
Just seem like a few more variables then I’d care to deal with or wager money on personally.

New NFL rule just passed! 15 yards for hitting Brady in the hands!
