Norwood gets nod for Falcons, not Snelling

According to the Atlanta Falcons’ Twitter account, running back Jerious Norwood is getting the start in place of Michael Turner on Sunday.  Turner is inactive with an aggravated high ankle sprain.  Previously, it was reported that Jason Snelling would take his place.  Not so.

[Update: ESPN's Adam Schefter reports on Twitter that Snelling is "expected to get (the) bulk of carries," even if Norwood starts the game.  So Snelling would theoretically be the better fantasy play.]
Joining Turner on the inactive list: quarterback Matt Ryan (third QB), wide receiver Michael Jenkins, safety Charlie Peprah, linebacker Spencer Adkins, tackle Sam Baker, guard Harvey Dahl, and defensive tackle Trey Lewis.
Dahl and Baker’s absences mean that the Falcons are without their starting left tackle and starting right guard, which isn’t good news for fill-in quarterback Chris Redman.  Redman is starting his first game since 2007.
On the Eagles’ side, there aren’t any surprises.  Wide receiver DeSean Jackson (concussion) is inactive, but he had already been ruled out.  The same goes for running back Brian Westbrook (concussions), linebacker Akeem Jordan (knee), and wide receiver Kevin Curtis (knee surgery).
Offensive lineman Mike McGlynn, running back P.J. Hill, and guard/tackle Stacy Andrews round out the Eagles’ inactives.  Kevin Kolb is the third quarterback.

Good news for my fantasy squad.

Well Harvey Dahl is the starting RG, not tackle. Tyson Clabo is the RT. Then again I don’t think too many people rely on this site’s accuracy so no worries!
