William Gay takes a strong shot to the head

With the Raiders driving for what could be the game-winning touchdown, Steelers cornerback William Gay sustained a wicked shot to the facemask, from the helmet of a teammate.

Gay’s head and neck snapped backward after safety Ryan Mundy dove to make the tackle.

It situation appeared to be very ominous for several minutes, with a ring of Steelers players kneeling in prayer.

The prayer apparently worked; seconds later, Gay was on his feet.  He walked off under his own power.

Meanwhile, the Raiders are withing striking distance with 27 seconds to play.

With any luck, he’ll never play football again. Gay Willie is the worst CB in the NFL.

Yes, because that is obviously the most logical explanation. Get real…

That was the worst game I have ever seen. The Raiders were awful and we were worse. Our defensive backs without Polamalu are a disgrace, although that last penalty against Ryan Mundy for hitting the “defenseless receiver” was complete garbage, he was making the play.

Browns fans know our team sucks. Well, we have been saying for years that Pittspuke sucks, and now they finally do. Deal with it, like we have been dealing with the Brown’s sucking every week for the past 11 years. Oakland will also be beating the hell out of our Brown’s very soon. So for once Pittsburgh and Cleveland will have something in common. Getting beat by the same crap team that is playing better than the Steelers and the Browns!

Oh here come the excuses, we beat you fair and square.
    Deal with it.

Why didn’t they play, “Down on the corner” when he was lying on the turf?

Yeah you’re all right, the Mundy call was BS. It shoulda been PI!
    In your face!!

Ryan Mundy is a dirty player. First he tries to take out Schielins, then he takes out his own guy, then he gets penalized for trying to take out somebody else a couple plays later.
Steeler fans can cry all they want about bad calls, but they need to wake up… you just lost at home to the RAIDERS HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

Was this blow to the head any worse than what All-Day did to him?

I hope Willie Gay isn’t seriously hurt, I wouldn’t be suprised if he recieved a concussion from Mundy’s poorly timed hit…
Gay has been the weakest link among weak links in the Steelers secondary this year but everyone has a bad year…this is young player, I wish him the best…
Hey baycabbie, I wouldn’t want to be in a Cleveland Browns uniform Thursday night…you’ll see…

get real! the penalty on mundy was a good call. the db cannot lead with the helmet. nor can he go helmet to helmet. there was pass interference as well.
let’s not forget that dirt ass player hines ward and the no call on the td.
raiders were the better team today, you lost, get over it.

You Steeler fans are tards, the guy leads with his helmet on two plays on the same drive. The best part is he took out his own player trying to deliver a cheap shot !!!!
