Packers pasting the Ravens

When the Baltimore Ravens last played on a Monday night three weeks ago, the Ravens scored 16 points in the final two quarters en route to a 16-0 win.

This time around, the Ravens have been outscored by 17 in the first two quarters of the Monday nighter.

The Ravens have never won at Lambeau Field, including their days as the Browns.  That streak apparently will be extended by at least another eight years.

The Packers have gotten their points via a 28-yard field goal on the game-opening drive, a two-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to Jermichael Finley to cap an eight-play, 83-yard drive in the second quarter, and an eight-yard touchdown pass from Rodgers to receiver Donald Driver at the end of an eight-play 68-yard drive.

The Ravens sputtered in the first half, with no offensive punch and two turnovers.

Florio, this is a bit off topic, but with the fact that there is no salary cap next year, will teams have the ability to franchise players? I’m thinking ahead to see if the packers might franchise aaron kampman, and then trade him to a 4-3 team. With his late ACL injury, he might not be franchisable, because he might not be ready by fall camp, but regardless, I wondered the answer to the question…

“The Ravens have never won at Lambeau Field, including their days as the Browns. ”
Need to check your facts, Florio.
According to the NFL, the Ravens are an expansion team. They have no history prior to the 1996 season.
Time to give it up. You may have found it funny at one time, but the shtick is old. Horse was dead long ago…

Having an evening of clarity here. The Ravens suck. You just can’t make any more excuses.

Teams get additional tags in the uncapped year… IIRC, it’s a total of three franchise and transition tags.

I’m a Baltimore fan, and even I will admit that you can’t play like that and say that you don’t suck.

Where are the trolls criticizing Aaron Rodgers? Hmm. Kind of quiet in here right now.
Also, I officially have a man-crush on Clay Matthews. And you should, too.

Will the Vikings keep their name when they move to Los Angeles? LA Vikings sounds okay, but they could probably come up with something better.

Rodgers is a better QB than Favre at this point in their career yes Favre is one of the best ever but the Pack would be 500 at best right now with him at the helm. Farve is in a better situation in Minny
