Two weeks after linebacker Aaron Kampman tore an ACL, the Packers finally have placed him on injured reserve.
The team announced the move moments ago.
Kampman and cornerback Al Harris suffered ACL injuries against the 49ers on November 22. Harris previously was placed on injured reserve.
To replace Kampman, the Packers have elevated Cyril Obiozor from the team's practice squad.
Obiozor signed as an undrafted free agent in May, and he has spent the first 13 weeks of the season on the practice squad.

Kampman has officially played his last game as a Packer.
I always felt that Kampman has been a class act. I wish him a full and speedy recovery.
"Kampman has officially played his last game as a Packer."
Don't even try to think that he is going to become a Viking because he isn't. I'm sure that he wants to go to a team that actually has fans in the seats.
Such a bummer. Kampman is a true class act. Hopefully he makes a full recovery and is able to land with someone next season.
Kampman is a classy guy, hope he comes back strong next year.

Kampman actually signed an offer sheet from the Vikings years ago when he was a restricted free agent I believe, and the Packers matched it and kept him. So I guess he wouldn't mind being a Viking.
