Rams-Bears one-liners

Rams RB Steven Jackson had 112 yards rushing, his seventh day of more than 100 yards this season, but there wasn’t much other offense in 17-9 loss.

Rams QB Kyle Boller was 17 of 32 for 113 yards with an interception and only one completion of more than 20 yards all game.

Rams P Donnie Jones dropped four of his seven punts inside the Bears 10.

Rams DE Chris Long had a sack for the fourth time in his last five games.

The offensive struggles were all the worse because the Rams benefited from good field position for most of the afternoon.

Said Bears LB Hunter Hillenmeyer, “It just felt like a game early on that was going to be a blowout, and then to let them linger, that was a little disappointing. But we won. That’s the only thing I can keep saying: It’s nice to win.”

Bears LB Jamar Williams had 18 tackles in place of the injured Lance Briggs.

Chris Williams was beaten for a sack by Long, but had a fairly good game as the Bears’ starting left tackle.

Bears WR Devin Hester left the game after injuring his calf in the third quarter.

After opening the game with 131 yards on his first seven pass attempts, Bears QB Jay Cutler only threw 11 more passes because of an injured hand.
