Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle Flozell Adams will not be suspended for shoving Giants defensive end Justin Tuck in the back on Sunday, according to two newspaper reports.
The Dallas Morning News and Newsday are both reporting that the NFL will not suspend Adams.
It should probably go without saying that the league is expected to fine Adams — if there’s no discipline at all for the play, it will basically serve as an invitation to every offensive player in the league to take all the cheap shots he wants at the end of the first half.
Because of a quirk in the league rules, personal fouls at the end of the final play of the first half aren’t enforced at the start of the second half. Defensive players can’t get away with personal fouls at the end of the half because the half can’t end on a defensive penalty. But offensive players can.
At least, they can until the league discipline is handed out. For Adams, that league discipline appears to be a fine, not a suspension.
Suck it fools!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAhA
Vox you rule!
Thank you Goodell for again proving that you have no idea how to be fair. Reward dirty play and behavior.
bullsh*t. Typical for the Cowboys. Jerry bought his player out of that one too. Cowboys are pussies. Only somebody that knows they can’t beat the other person hits them when they aren’t lookin. Great job Flozell….you fat slob.
fix the quirk, roger. and take the stick over the family senate loss out yer backside.
I would damn well like to see the rest of the Cowboys play a little dirty, instead of just standing around,
WAY TO GO FLOZELL!!

”
And when the BS artist Pereira speaks just what moron lawyers would have even written such a rule? Or was Flozell that smart that he knew it?
These suits running the NFL are making a joke out the the league!
so even though he has been known as a dirty player…done extremely dirty things like tripping and NOW gets caught once again on camera being dirty the NFL is doing nothing.
way to go Roger!!
I’m a lifelong Cowboys fan and I thought what Flozell did was pathetic. It was embarrassing and totally classless. If only Wade could dig his head out of his ass, admit he saw the play and dole out some discipline…oh wait, Wade can’t dole out discipline, that’s the job of the dumbass that sits in the owner/president/gm’s office!
And on a related note everyones favorite ass-clown Vox removes his lips from his Jerry blow-up doll and gives a thumbs up
Way to go, Goodell, you gutless P.O.S.
Effin Coward, man.
For chrissakes…how is he NOT being suspended for this?! This would make the 4th time this season that he’s been caught doing something dirty(Tuck, Osi, Peppers, and now Tuck again) He was fined for the first 3 offenses and warned that he’d be suspended if he did something dirty again.
Was this just not dirty enough for you, Roger??
Moron
It’s because the league is afraid of Jerry Jones and what he means to the upcoming labor agreement. Simple as that, Jones is holding a big hammer and the league is afraid he just might swing it.
This non-action (fines don’t count when its one of the highest paid position players in the league) sends a horrible message to the rest of the league. Flozell hurt Tucks shoulder on a gutless dirty play in the first game and then does another classless move.
Flozell is laughing right now, great job Roger!
No suprise that goodell won’t do anything to weaken a cowboys team, that has major trouble pulling off wins in december as it is.
Thats because goodell is jerry jones’ b*tch, lets be honest.
Does anybody think an ignorant, classless, millionair, slob like blowzell cares about trivial fines ?
What a joke goodell and his double standard rules are !
Flozell should be suspended for his classless act. Considering this is a repeat offense by the same person I don’t see how it’s fair that he didn’t. Hopefully Dallas tanks it like they have the last few years in December and that one of those losses is because of Flozell.
Don’t be surprised when the next headline on PFT is “Cowboys Award Stadium Naming Rights to Roger Goodell.”
Dont worry I got even for Justin I bitch slaped a cowboy fan at the game
Here is the good news its Dec the cowboys are going to continue to lose and the Giants are going to win the east and JJ and his team of assclowns will be home watching the playoffs.
Wade will be fired and JJ will be hunting for another talking head to follow his orders.
Flozell will do something stupid in the Chargers game and will get himself suspended for the next game. Mark it down. The Chargers will probably goad him into it just for fun.
I really don’t think it’s far-fetched for a collective group of defensive players to come together and put a bounty on this bumbledick. His days as an NFL player, or even just a man with the ability to walk upright, may soon be numbered.
Proof positive.
Goodell may be Darth Vader, but Jerry Jones is the emperor.
Goodell, Mr. Tough Guy my ass, he’s Jones’ lackey bitch.
Disgusting.
Of course he won’t be suspended, it’s America’s Team
What a bunch of sniveling crybabies you Flozell haters are. Suspend him for a shove? Tuck is a mouthy little girl who got what was coming to him.
Look, it’s a man’s game, and tempers flare. If y’all are so damn offended, maybe you should watch some soccer, or better yet, a nice relaxing episode of Oprah.. I mean it’s not like he killed a facking dog, brought a gun to a nightclub and shot himself, or beat on his woman. You chumps probably applauded when Haynesworth stomped on Gurode’s head, so chew on that hypocrisy, ninnies.
It was a shove you crybabies. A little shove….You guys never played any high level sports.
Big freaking deal.
You dont get suspended for a little shove for pete’s sake.
You bunch of PU$$IE$
Good, takes away any excuse when the Cowgirls lose again this Sunday and the December jinx takes a permament place in their heads.
Here’s the bitch, the NFC East will no doubt send their divisional winner AND one wildcard team to the playoffs, the Cowgirls are down in tiebreakers to the Giants (lost twice) and the Packers (lost once 17-7) and the tie breaker with Philly wouldn’t be decided until the last week when the chances are they do a repeat of the 44-6 finale. I hope Jerry decides to bask in the limelight and is on the sidelines for that loss. It might be another decade before the Cowboys win another playoff game.
Just how many strikes does this dude get before a suspension?
Of course Goodell isn’t going to take the chance and get in the bad graces of Jerry Jones. Roger has already scheduled surgery to attach his lips to jerry’s ass just to make it official.
Oh wait I forgot, Wade Phillips always teaches his team about “respect”.
I love when fans cheer when their player/team avoids punishment for dirty play. I mean, are you even a SPORTS FAN?
If the league doesn’t suspend him and allows him to just walk away with another $5K-$20K fine it is going to end up being a major problem for Flozell.
If the league does not mete out proper justice for repeated flagrant fouls by a player, other players will take it upon themselves to do so. Which is the wrong way to handle this.
It is the league’s responsibility, not other players.
It’s clear Goodell doesn’t have the testicles to stand up to Al Davis, now add Jerry Jones to the list.
I can hardly wait to see what Adams fine is for a repeated violation which could have had injury implications (as the previous one with Tuck did) vs. what the league fines Ochocinco for his sombrero & repeated TD costume celebrations.
Silly Football Fans, everybody knows that he who holds all the gold makes all the rules. You really didn’t think Jerry would let one of his boys get suspended did you ?
LOL @ you dummies who thinks Roger Goodell is going to read your comments.
if flozell were to get suspended for this, then every single defensive player that guns for the qb when a turnover occurs should get suspended every time they deliver a big hit on a qb when they aren’t expecting it. and it happens all the time. even if its away from the play, some the first person some defensive players look for is the qb because they can get away with it.
Awww, Justin Tuck got PUSHED.
Somebody bring in the top-tier league investigators.
@Bob Loblaw
Maybe we’ll feel that way when a defensive end takes a dive at Romo’s knee after the whistle. You wouldn’t complain if that happened, would you? After all, you said yourself that it’s a man’s game.
It was a push in the back, this is football.
Players do FAR worse after plays are “over”, as in sideline plays, quarterback late hits, running backs being stood up and leveled.
Unless Justa Turd got a concession, Goodell’s not listening.
Meanwhile, they’re teaching that horrible Ochocinco a lesson.

For as big as this turd is, he sure is a pussy.
No suspension…good! It will be one less excuse Dallas Cowboy fan can use Monday morning!
LOL @ chunky for thinking that any of us actually think he is reading our comments
Well, hopefully karma gets Flozell.
Maybe in the next game the pile falls on his outstretched leg and someone gouges at his eyes….accidently.
they fine Ocho what ever $30,000 for a hat and a poncho and this no talent scum bag gets what?
You want to solve the NFL money issue put JT and Blowzel in a boxing ring for 5 rounds of course you will have to make sure blow does not run away after all he is a cheap shot artist cant face a man
But I guess that is why is plays for the worst team in the NFL the Dumbass cowpies
What’s funny is that some Cowboys fans here are proud of the fact he did this. If Jason Peters did this to Demarcus Ware they would be crying like little bitches about it and that pole smoker Vox would be leading the brigade.
“Because of a quirk in the league rules, personal fouls at the end of the final play of the first half aren’t enforced at the start of the second half. Defensive players can’t get away with personal fouls at the end of the half because the half can’t end on a defensive penalty. But offensive players can”
The Cowboys missed a 57 yard FG on first down. Meaning the ball was at the Giants 39 yard line. After a missed FG doesn’t the ball revert back to the other team even if it’s not 4th down? And it goes back to where the FG attempt was made from. Meaning, if the Giants would’ve been given the opportunity to accept the penalty, they would’ve taken possession at their own 47 yard line. Now assess a 15 yard penalty from the their 47 and the Giants have the ball at Dallas’ 37 yard line. That gives the Giants a chance to attempt a 55 yard FG or a hail mary.
If an offensive player sets his sights on doing what Flozell did, he better be aware of down and distance. A fifteen yard penalty and an untimed play could result in the other team having a legimate shot at a FG if they decide to accept the penalty. Or even a hail mary.
>>> Now assess a 15 yard penalty from the their 47 and the Giants have the ball at Dallas’ 37 yard line. That gives the Giants a chance to attempt a 55 yard FG or a hail mary.
he was fined $5ok.

I know for a FACT that people high up on the NFL’s food chain pay attention to this site, including these comments. As crazy as it sounds, people in the NFL actually do care what fans are saying about how the league handles matters such as these.
McWest,
still waiting for you to either show us all something that supports your BS claim that it’s Columbo who has the hearing impairment instead of Flozell, or admit you just don’t know what you’re talking about.
Of course, this doesn’t surprise me since it’s clear you aren’t adult enough to admit you were wrong while erroneously calling someone else out.
I don’t think he should have been suspended for what he did at the end of the half. That would be stupid. I am saying that the next time he does an illegal leg whip, trip, low block at the knees of a defensive player or a push in the back so that the player falls over another player that he should get FINED & SUSPENDED!
HE WILL DO IT AGAIN AND SOMEBODY WILL GET HURT & THEIR CAREER MAY BE THREATENED!
This is about what he has done many times in the past (leg whips and illegal low hits at the knees), not about the little shove he gave at the end of the half against the Giants. He is a dirty player and has shown that fines have no effect on him at all.
All I know is that the Giants swept the Pokes this season. Ruining the opening game at Jerry World(which had everything going that night except the W). Winning in this League is always the best revenge. All Flozell did was fire up the G-Men for the 2nd half. You could see the difference in their play during the 3rd and 4th quarters, especially the Giants overall D.
Although I am a dye-in-the-wool Big Blue fan objectively Romo played a very good game. What really killed the Cowboys was their dead-in-the-water rushing game(45 total yards!) and special teams break-down at the worst possible time. So for his inspirational push in the back of Justin Tuck I simply want to thank-you Flozell.
this just shows what a GUTLESS P.O.S. Goddell is, besides Roger Goddell’s got better things to do, like breaking Ocho Cinco’s balls by ESCALATING his fines, or trying to EXTORT more money out of the city of Miami by threatening not to bring the Super Bowl back there, …are we going to wait until Adams injures someone with one of his cheap shots before this Comissioner SUSPENDS him???
@ all you jackasses who keep making comments like “it’s a man’s game”
Yes it is a man’s game, and part of being a man is acting like one. Not acting like a &$%#^% coward. Yes, it was just a push, but it was a cheapshot, plain and simple. Adams is a snarling little bitch, and Goodell should have shoved Adams’ nose in the steaming pile he left behind. That’s the only way you can teach animals like that. Instead he gets what amounts to a slap on the wrist, and he’ll go ahead piss on the rug again.
Obviously, they should change the quirk in the rules and assess an offensive penalty at the end of the half to the kickoff to begin the 2nd. At least it would be another deterrent along with fines and possibly suspensions. And @ McWest, the ball wouldn’t revert to the other team if there was no time left.
>>>still waiting for you to either show us all something that supports your BS claim that it’s Columbo who has the hearing impairment instead of Flozell, or admit you just don’t know what you’re talking about.
Of course, this doesn’t surprise me since it’s clear you aren’t adult enough to admit you were wrong while erroneously calling someone else out.
McWest,
apology accepted. Sorry I called you non adult. Between being sick of everyone bashing on me just bc I’m a cowboys fan (although a realistic one, not a blind homer), and getting ready for the annual Dallas December meltdown, I’m not being very adult myself
Thanks for being a better sport about this than I was!
To Buschman
>>>And @ McWest, the ball wouldn’t revert to the other team if there was no time left.
DISGRACEFUL. Cowboy fans who aren’t ashamed of this player are just as bad. There is a reason teams and fans love seeing the Cowboys get beat.
No harm, no foul, Grulks. I’d like to tell you that I hope your team does better. But being an Eagles fan, I just can’t. I bash on the Cowboys (not their fans), but it’s all in fun.
I normally don’t bash on Cowboy fans, or any other fans. I just got caught up in hoopla of Cowboy fans not being real fans of the team. That they are Cowboy fans only because of their history. Shame on me.
