Amazing the barnacles that attach themselves to the ship when its headed in the right direction. Shut your hole Kilmer, no one cares.

I’m sure the Saints are relieved to know Billy Kilmer has forgiven them. Now we can all get past this.

LOL, I’m sure Portis is appreciative and not just for what ‘The Danny’ has given him, but for what he will be giving him should they cut him in the off season — a $7mil parting gift given that $7 mil of his 2010 salary is guaranteed (due to the Redskins repeated manipulation of his and other players salaries to fit them under the cap).

Imagine the Redskins trading Portis away….Usually they sign guys at that stage of their careers (and in that physical shape) to huge deals, instead of letting them go for draft picks, younger healthier more ambitious guys. Could be a move in the right direction….something we haven’t seen from Washington for a loooooonnnnnnnggggg time. as a ‘skins fan, I would be thrilled to see them get picks for him from somewhere (and maybe draft some O-Linemen). Maybe Cooley too, if Fred Davis keeps coming on. But Cooley would be missed……

Well, I hope Zimmer’s familiarity with Favre pays off. It would be nice to clinch the division and work on the 2nd seed.

    bake,
Who exactly would ‘trade’ anything for Portis? He’s clearly no longer a ‘franchise’ RB, he’s pretty much average, if not below average. You can get equivalent production from your average FA RB,

how could Kilmer say he’s pulling for the Saints. Don’t he remember playing in DC, and didn’t he see the way the Saints robbed the Redskins last Sunday?????
I guess playing in Washington is forgettable these days………………………………No wonder so many rooted for Sonny to start over him………
