Bucs' Trueblood fined $25,000

Another week, another fine for Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive lineman Jeremy Trueblood.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Trueblood was fined $25,000 for unnecessary roughness — striking an opponent after the play was over — during Sunday’s loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Fines are nothing unusual for Trueblood, who last week was fined $7,500 for taking his helmet off in an on-field confrontation. According to Schefter, the $25,000 fine is Trueblood’s fourth of the year. He has also been fined twice for unnecessary roughness.

The NFL is starting to increase the amount of Trueblood’s fines because he’s a repeat offender, and Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris has said that if Trueblood can’t clean up his act, it will begin to cost him playing time.

This guy has been committing dumba$$ penalties for 2 seasons now. (Last season it actually mattered). Hope he can clean up his act – the guy does have talent & is a decent player – when he’s not being an idiot!

Clean it up man,That’s more than just a few. Some Bucs fans might remember Kenyatta Walker.
    Don’t be that guy.

A repeat offender just like Ocho Cinco yet his fine is $5000 less than Ocho Cinco’s. Trueblood’s is for dirty plays while Ocho’s is for wearing a sombrero. lol Yes that makes a lot of sense Goodell.

I am looking forward to the Bucs getting rid of this clown. He gets stupid penalties almost every week. I don’t think he is a good player. The OL has underachieved now for several seasons. It was supposed to be a strength this season, but that hasn’t been the case.
I don’t feel the K. Walker comparison is apt. Sure he would also be called for many penalties, but his were usually false start or holding penalties. He never had a pulse to get personal foul penalties.
I think we can keep Penn, Faine, Joseph and maybe get Sears back into the fold. That might be key since Sears was considered possibly the best OL of the group.
