League, union back at the bargaining table

Talks regarding a new Collective Bargaining Agreement continued on Friday, with the league and the NFL Players Association getting together again for another negotiating session.

Liz Mullen of SportsBusiness Journal reports that the seventh session took place on December 11.

Details aren’t available, because both sides have respected (so far) the agreement not to talk to the media regarding the talks. But the latest session likely was at least a little awkward, given the recent move by the league to pull the plug on supplemental revenue sharing.

And with that opening, here’s a PFTV segment on the subject.
