Bears' Pace, Hester inactive vs. Packers

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler will go up against the stiff Packers defense today without his left tackle and his favorite receiver.

Bears receiver Devin Hester and left tackle Orlando Pace are both inactive for the game against Green Bay.

The Bears’ other inactives are wide receiver Juaquin Iglesias, defensive back Craig Steltz, cornerback D.J. Moore, linebacker Cato June and defensive tackles Matt Toeaina and Jarron Gilbert.

For the Packers, the inactives are wide receiver Biren Ealy, defensive back Trevor Ford, fullback Quinn Johnson, defensive back Matt Giordano, tackles Breno Giacomini and Allen Barbre, nose tackle Ryan Pickett and linebacker Jeremy Thompson.

  1. The Packers will dominate in the first half, but score a curiously low number of points. The Bears will get some momentum in the third quarter and cut the lead to three.
This will result from pass interference penalties and special teams snafus. The Packers will get another TD to pull ahead by 10, followed by a Bears TD on the ensuing kickoff.
The game will subsequently iced by two or three Charles Woodson pick 6’s, who will go on to be league MVP.
    MARK IT DOWN!

  2. I agree with the Packer letdown at some point.
This will end up a 7 point game or less.
That ruling on the Jennings catch was f’d up by Mike Carey, who is still the best ref in the NFL. If Mike Carey were white, Al Sharpton would be bitching that Jennings was jobbed….
