The Bucs are without three key contributors Sunday.
Starting weak-side linebacker Geno Hayes will sit with a hamstring injury. Rookie wide receiver Sammie Stroughter is down with a bad back. Starting wide receiver Michael Clayton is still on the shelf with an MCL sprain.
The Bucs’ other inactives are CB Derrick Roberson, DE Michael Bennett, OG Shawn Murphy, and OT James Lee. Tampa’s third QB is Rudy Carpenter.
Meanwhile, the Jets didn’t even deem Mark Sanchez (PCL sprain) healthy enough to be their third quarterback. Sanchez is No. 4 behind Kellen Clemens, Erik Ainge, and even Kevin O’Connell. The Jets’ other inactives are CB Dwight Lowery, CB Lito Sheppard, OL Robert Turner, LB Kenwin Cummings, DL Ropati Pitoitua, LB Marques Murrell, and OT Ryan McKee.
