Incognito leads the league in head butts

The St. Louis Rams haven’t done much worth mentioning today against the Tennessee Titans. But Rams guard Richie Incognito did draw some attention to himself.

Incognito was flagged for personal foul penalties for head butting opponents not once but twice during the first half of today’s game. Although official records aren’t kept on such things, it’s probably safe to say that Incognito is the league leader in head butts with two in less than a half.

After the second head butt, Incognito was benched and replaced by Mark Setterstrom.Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo was shown on the sideline having a heated conversation with Incognito.

Late in the fourth quarter, the Titans are beating the Rams 47-7.

  1. Incognito has been a hothead and has been making bonehead plays like that for years. I don’t care if he has talent or plays hard, he needs to be gone. He’s cost us games before with this stupid crap, although obviously not this one…

  2. For whatever reason, I never notice Incognito on the field. Apparently he’s trying to stand out.

If there is no official records kept how could you make a statement like that?
Michael David Smith is an idiot!

  4. This guy is as dirty as Flozell Adams, yet this article will get few comments as opposed to the ones about the aforementioned Flozell.

  5. Incognito is a talented guard, and his skills are very underrated because of this stupid immature 4th grader stuff. He needs to get his act together or he might not be signed by anyone when he becomes a free agent in the off season.

  6. Incognito is NO WHERE as close as Flo Adams in terms of being a “dirty” player. Incognito headbutt people at their faces, Adams is a b**** and pushes them from behind. Face… Back… Face… Back.
